Dani joined Smith Strength and Power in October 2023 to prepare for his first competition in early February 2024.

When we started his PB's were: 

​

- 215kg Squat 

- 165kg Touch and Go Bench Press

- 237.5kg Deadlift 

​

After working together for 4 months in his competition he went 8/9 hitting:

​

- 230kg Squat

- 160kg Paused Bench 

- 260kg Deadlift

​

For a 650kg total in the U110kg class completing a 30kg total PB on the platform. 

​

The only hiccup on the day was his third bench attempt of 167.5kg which he lifted, but unfortunately jumped the press command. 

​

Other than that it was a perfect first competition.
