Bianca joined Smith Strength & Power in mid June 2023. She had competed in her first competition in 2022 achieving a 300kg total as an U56kg Junior. Her goal was to compete on September 2nd 2023 in the Arizona state championships and break the Colorado state records which is her home state.

This meant we were immediately 12 weeks out from her competition and needed to add more than 20kg to her competition total. Bianca absolutely rose to the challenge and each block we profoundly improving the only real challenge was ensuring Bianca remained calm, followed competition standards and didn't rush her lifts.

Safe to say she absolutely smashed the competition! Going 8/9:

- 122.5kg Squat (+22.5kg Comp PB & New Colorado Record)

​

- 70kg Bench Press (+10kg Comp PB)

​

- 157.5kg Deadlift (+17.5kg Comp PB & New Colorado and Arizona Records)

Hitting a 50kg Competition PB of 350kg and taking the Colorado Squat, Deadlift and Total Record by blowing it out the water by a massive 28.5kg!

The amazing performance won her both U56kg Junior and Open 1st Places well as overall best female lifter to round off a phenomenal day.
